Laundry Pickup in Sea Gate
Sea Gate sits at the far western tip of the Coney Island peninsula — the old Norton's Point, now a private community of houses behind its own gates, with water on three sides and the Coney Island Lighthouse standing over the beach blocks. It is a neighborhood of single-family and semi-detached homes rather than towers, and many of them were rebuilt after Hurricane Sandy came straight in off the Lower Bay. What it does not have is a commercial strip. Every errand starts with going out through the gate.

Laundry King collects from the streets inside the gates and brings everything back clean and folded — no drive out to Mermaid or Surf Avenue, no waiting in a laundromat, no hauling bags through the gatehouse. Our facility is at 39 Neptune Ave, a few miles east on the same avenue that runs out to the Sea Gate line, so for our drivers this is one straight run rather than a trip across Brooklyn.
Living on the water is hard on laundry — salt air, sand, and beach towels by the armful all summer, then heavy comforters and blankets all winter. Wash & Fold is $1.55/lb with a $30 minimum for pickup and delivery. Shirts come back pressed, dry cleaning is priced by item, and comforters, blankets and pillows are priced separately.
